Quick answer: GetChat or SendPulse?
- What SendPulse does well
- SendPulse runs chatbots on Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, TikTok and Viber from one builder, and sits next to its own email, SMS and CRM tools.
- Where GetChat overlaps
- SendPulse and GetChat both trigger Instagram DMs from comments and keywords, react to story mentions and can check for a follow before the next step.
- The main tradeoff
- SendPulse covers far more channels and marketing tools, plus live chat and an AI Agent element, while GetChat keeps to Instagram automation with plan limits counted in automated conversations per month.
- Who should consider each
- SendPulse suits teams that want messengers, email and SMS in one account; GetChat suits Instagram-led sellers who want comment-to-DM and a follow check without the rest of a marketing suite.

Why look for a SendPulse alternative
Scope is the biggest difference. SendPulse's chatbot product is one part of a platform that also sells email campaigns, SMS, web push, a CRM and a course builder. GetChat is only Instagram automation: no inbox, no AI and no other channels.
The pricing models differ. SendPulse's Pro chatbot plan is priced by subscriber count across all bots, and WhatsApp messages carry Meta's per-message fees. GetChat prices plans by automated conversations a month: 300 on Free, 5,000 on Pro and 25,000 on Growth.
AI is available on SendPulse through an AI Agent element in a flow, which needs a model token or AI credits configured. GetChat does not offer AI replies; every message it sends is one you wrote.
SendPulse shows prices in a regional currency with monthly or annual billing. GetChat shows US dollar prices everywhere: Pro $12 a month or $120 a year, Growth $29 a month or $288 a year.
Where GetChat fits
Shops that sell through Instagram comments can run comment-to-DM on posts and Reels, with story reply, mention and reaction triggers, on every GetChat plan including Free.
The follow check is a ready step in the comment-to-DM flow rather than a filter you assemble, and it is on every plan.
On Pro and Growth, people who did not finish get a reminder DM and the 'via GetChat' branding is removed.
Every person who went through an automation is kept as a contact with tags and follow status, exportable as CSV.
When SendPulse is the better fit
You need WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, TikTok or Viber bots as well as Instagram; SendPulse covers them in one builder and GetChat does not offer them.
You also send email newsletters or SMS and want them in the same account as your chatbots.
You want payments in chat (Stripe, PayPal), Google Sheets sync, webhooks and API on one plan; SendPulse lists these on Pro.
You want a live chat where a teammate pauses the bot and continues by hand, or AI answers inside a flow. GetChat has neither.
