Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains how to cancel a paid GetChat plan and how to ask for a refund. How it works depends on how you paid: through Paddle (billing country outside Uzbekistan) or through Click or Payme (billing country Uzbekistan). The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

1. Which rules apply to you

  • Paid through Paddle (in US dollars): Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record and charges you. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are processed by Paddle under its Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Sections 2–4 apply.
  • Paid through Click or Payme (in so'm): GetChat is the seller. Each payment covers one month or one year and does not renew. Sections 5–6 apply.

Cancelling and getting a refund are different things: cancelling stops future payments, a refund returns money for a payment already made. Cancelling does not by itself give a refund.

2. Cancelling a Paddle subscription

You can cancel at any time. Open Settings → Billing in the GetChat app and follow the link to Paddle's billing page, use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or go to paddle.net. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you will not be charged again, and your paid plan stays active until that date. After it, your account moves to the Free plan.

3. Refunds for Paddle purchases

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment, for any reason. This is a window for making a request, not a promise of a refund: Paddle decides each request under its Refund Policy and may give a full or partial refund or decline it, taking into account, for example, the reason and how the service was used. Paddle does not refund where there is evidence of fraud or refund abuse.

Statutory rights. Consumers in some countries have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase. For example, consumers in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and the UK can usually withdraw within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription, unless they asked for the service to start straight away and agreed to lose the right once it is used. Where your local law gives you more, those rights apply. Details are in Paddle's Refund Policy.

Faults. If GetChat does not work as described, tell us first so we can fix it. If we cannot, we will support your refund request to Paddle, which refunds where there is a material defect, in line with consumer protection law.

4. How to request a Paddle refund

  • Go to paddle.net, find your order and choose Request refund, or use the link in your Paddle receipt email; or
  • write to us at hello@getchat.io with the email you paid with and the order number. We will pass the request to Paddle and support it where it falls within this policy.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 14 days of approval, depending on your bank. When Paddle confirms a full refund of the payment for the period running now, the subscription is canceled and the account moves to the Free plan. A refund for an earlier period, or a partial refund, does not change the current plan by itself. Please contact us or Paddle before filing a chargeback with your bank; doing so does not limit your rights.

5. Click and Payme: nothing renews

A plan paid through Click or Payme is prepaid for one month or one year. Nothing is charged automatically, so there is no subscription to cancel: when the period ends, your account moves to the Free plan unless you pay for another period. Your automations, contacts and settings are kept.

6. Refunds for Click and Payme payments

You can request a refund within 14 days of a payment (this does not shorten any longer period the law gives you) by writing to hello@getchat.io or through the support form. Include the account email, the date and amount of the payment, whether you paid with Click or Payme, and the reason. We review each request under the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the payment provider's rules, taking into account how much of the paid period has been used. We aim to give a first answer — a decision or a request for details — within 10 working days.

Regardless of the 14-day window, a payment charged twice for the same order, a payment charged by mistake, and a payment for a period we could not provide because of a fault on our side are refunded once we have confirmed them, as the law requires.

Approving a request does not move money by itself: the refund is made through the same provider (Click or Payme) to the card or account you paid from, and we record it once the provider has confirmed it. How long the money takes to arrive depends on the provider and your bank, not on us. When a payment is refunded, the period it bought is removed and your account returns to the plan it had before that payment, unless a later payment already covers that time.

7. Billing history and receipts

Your payments are listed in the app under Settings → Billing. For Click and Payme payments, a receipt with our registration details is available there; a refunded payment's receipt is marked as refunded. For Paddle payments, Paddle emails the receipt or invoice and you can find it again at paddle.net.

8. Deleting your account

Deleting your GetChat account does not cancel a Paddle subscription and does not refund the rest of a paid period by itself. Cancel the subscription first, and ask for a refund separately if you believe you are entitled to one.

9. Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you. If this policy and a mandatory rule of law differ, the rule of law applies.

10. Contact

Questions about payments, cancellations or refunds: hello@getchat.io, the support form, or Telegram @getchat_io. For Paddle orders you can also contact Paddle through paddle.net.
