Why look for a Meta Business Suite alternative
Meta's keyword automations allow up to five keywords per automation, match keywords exactly and case-sensitively, and are available only on desktop, according to its help center. If a keyword automation and a template automation both match, the template reply is sent.
Comment to message replies to comments that contain your keywords, on desktop. Meta notes some automations are not available for every connected channel and that some organic messaging features are unavailable for businesses in Europe and Japan.
We did not find a follow check or story reply and mention triggers in Meta Business Suite's documentation. GetChat has both on every plan, including Free.
Meta Business Agent, Meta's AI responder, is rolling out to selected businesses, and turning it on pauses existing automations. GetChat does not write replies with AI; it sends the messages you set.

When Meta Business Suite is the better fit
You want automation at no cost and a greeting, away message, FAQs and a few keyword replies are enough.
You also sell through WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, or want one Inbox where people answer every channel. GetChat offers neither.
You publish posts, Reels and stories, boost content and read insights in the same place you answer messages.
You want to stay inside Meta's own tools, with Meta Business Agent as it becomes available to your business.
Pricing explained
Meta's help center describes Meta Business Suite as a free platform. Ads are paid separately. In its June 2026 announcement Meta said Business Agent is free to activate at first and that paid subscription options will follow; we did not find published prices.
