Trengo is designed as a team inbox. Its entry plan includes 10 users and 500 conversations a month, and its AI agent adds a fee per conversation it handles. If your volume is mostly Instagram comments and DMs from a small team, that structure may be more than you need.

Trengo's Instagram documentation covers receiving DMs, comments, mentions and story replies in the inbox. We did not find an automatic comment-to-DM feature in its docs. GetChat's main Instagram tool is exactly that: a comment on a post or Reel triggers a DM, on every plan.

Trengo bills in EUR (USD and GBP can also be displayed) with users included per plan. GetChat has no users to count; its plans are sized by automated conversations a month, from 300 on Free.

Pricing explained

According to its pricing page (checked October 2026), Trengo Boost costs €349/month billed monthly or €299/month billed annually, with 10 users and 500 conversations a month. Pro costs €599/month monthly or €499/month annually, with 20 users and 1,500 conversations a month. A conversation is any exchange within a 7-day window. Extra conversations are €18 per 100 (€15 annual), extra users €30 to €50 a month, and each conversation handled by the AI agent adds €0.30 (€0.25 annual). WhatsApp, voice and SMS usage is charged separately.

GetChat counts automated conversations, not users or human-handled conversations: Free includes 300 a month, Pro 5,000 for $12 a month ($120 a year) and Growth 25,000 for $29 a month ($288 a year). Free has no time limit and needs no card.

Switching from Trengo to GetChat

• Recreate the Instagram replies you want automated as GetChat automations: comment keywords, DM keywords and story triggers, each with its DM text and buttons.
• Reconnect Instagram through Meta login. If Trengo stays connected for other channels, turn off its Instagram channel so both tools do not answer the same DM.
• Keep Telegram, email, WhatsApp and the team inbox in Trengo; GetChat does not cover them, and people who reply to a GetChat DM are answered in Instagram itself.
• Conversation history and contact records do not transfer automatically.
