Why look for a Brevo alternative

Brevo's help center says targeted chats, triggers and chatbot scenarios are not available in Instagram DMs, and that Conversations is for private messages rather than community management. Instagram automation in Brevo therefore depends on its AI chatbot, which is in beta.

Instagram DMs in Brevo come with the Sales Essentials package ($31 per month, from Starter), and the AI chatbot with Sales Advanced ($64 per month, Professional and Enterprise only), according to its pricing article.

Brevo does not document comment-to-DM, story triggers or a follow check. These are GetChat features on Instagram, on every plan.

You want marketing automation, landing pages and a sales pipeline in one platform.

You need a full REST API. GetChat has no public API or Zapier listing; it sends each automation event to your own URL through a Webhook step.

You want an AI chatbot, or a shared inbox where agents answer Instagram DMs. GetChat has neither.

Pricing explained

According to Brevo's pricing help article (checked October 2026), plans are Free ($0), Starter from $9 per month, Standard from $18 per month, Professional from $499 per month and Enterprise on a custom quote; the price grows with email volume. Brevo's machine-readable pricing file, generated in September 2026, lists a lower Professional base price, so check the live page. Yearly billing is about 10% less.

Instagram DMs and Messenger in Conversations need the Sales Essentials package at $31 per month (Starter and above). The AI chatbot and WhatsApp 1:1 messages need Sales Advanced at $64 per month (Professional and Enterprise). WhatsApp and SMS messages use prepaid credits.

GetChat is priced by automated conversations a month, with no add-on packages: Free ($0, 300 automated conversations a month), Pro ($12 a month or $120 a year, 5,000) and Growth ($29 a month or $288 a year, 25,000). The Free plan needs no card and has no time limit.

Switching from Brevo to GetChat
